Prayer Recommendations

Prayer is the number one weapon that we can use to support our missonary brethren. The book Serving as Senders lists a number of recommendations for us to take to the alter which I summarize below:

• Adjustment to new culture, language food
• Protection in travel, health, accidents, dangerous situations
• Concern for children's health, education, friendships, housing, lack of privacy, differences in living standards
• Loneliness, homesickness, lack of accustomed fellowship with others
• Interpersonal relationships, dealing with one's own (and others') prejudice, selfishness, depending on the faithfulness of others to meeting fiscal obligations.
• Effectiveness in ministry, whatever the assignment
• Functioning of the tools of ministry
• Lack of visible results.
• People being ministered to, local Christian and governmental leaders
• Need for stability, wisdom, compassion, self-discipline boldness, power, love, to be filled with the Spirit of God.
